Check this out ... It took me about 5 months to make this editor. See the post below for more info.

If you are looking to get your hands on it, check out the Files section!
Note: you'll probably need to be a programmer to figure stuff out. but there's a bunch of samples. good luck!

Where has the time gone!?!

Oh man, It's feels like months since I last came to this site to blog. It's been way too busy at fullsail these last few months. First off, due to lack of time the club disolved and the "salamander" and first person shooter were unfortunately abandoned. now that final project is on, I've decided to clean this website up and use it as a showcase for any of us who want to show off our pet projects.

Ill go first:
For the last 5 months or so between class time, I have been obsessively researching audio beat detection ( which i later found out to be called onset detection).
Although not perfect, I've learned how to analyze audio data and became facinated with dynamic texture generation (alright alright so i like visualizers :).

In conclusion,
I've created a tool that analyzes audio data and lets you design audio visualizations to your hearts desire. I call it: audio visualization studio or AVS for short.
basically my plans for this are to use it as a game engine tool ( i'm full of ideas :P)
the tool itself features a few nifty side tools to help create complex art with ease. for instance a text Math parser, and a shader editor.

check it out here!

Enough chat. go have fun with the AVS tool! you know you want to! I created an installer that has a few samples to demonstrate what it can do.
